The Lynnwood market
Built for how Lynnwood actually does business
Lynnwood is the retail center of southwest Snohomish County. The Alderwood mall, anchored by Nordstrom, Macy's, and JCPenney with the open-air Village and Terraces sections, anchors a retail sector that employs around 7,000 people and generates roughly half the city's tax revenue. Beyond the mall, big-box stores and auto dealers line the corridors, and the largest non-retail employers are the Edmonds School District, the city government, and ADP. Zumiez and SOG Knives are headquartered here.
The big shift is transit. Lynnwood City Center station opened in 2024 as the northern end of the Link light rail 1 Line, making it the largest transit hub in southwest Snohomish County and a one-seat ride to Seattle. The city is building out a designated City Center district between the station and Alderwood, which is changing the customer base from drive-in shoppers toward denser, mixed-use development. Edmonds College sits nearby and feeds students and staff into the local economy.
Retail
Alderwood and the surrounding big-box and dealer corridors drive about half the city's tax base.
Education
The Edmonds School District is a top employer and Edmonds College sits in the city.
Consumer brands and manufacturing
Zumiez and SOG Knives are headquartered in Lynnwood, and ADP runs a large operation here.
Food and hospitality
Heavy restaurant and service density built around mall traffic and the new light rail station.

Our approach in Lynnwood
Designing a brand for a Lynnwood business
Grounded in your market
We look at what your Lynnwood and Snohomish County competitors look like first, so your mark stands apart on the street it will actually compete on.
Simple enough to survive
A good local logo works embroidered on a polo, wrapped on a van, and shrunk into a browser tab. We design for the hardest case, not the prettiest mockup.
Delivered, documented, done
You get the files, the colors, the fonts, and a short guide. Any print shop or web developer can run with it from day one.
